Ryanair Raises Traffic Guidance Again Amid Strong Demand
Ryanair on Monday raised its traffic guidance for the current fiscal year ending in March, reflecting strong customer demand and earlier than expected Boeing aircraft deliveries.
The largest airline in Europe now expects passenger volumes to grow 4% to almost 208 million. Only three months ago, the company had raised guidance to 207 million from an original projection of 206 million.
Ryanair reported a traffic increase of 6% for the third quarter ended Dec. 31, and said that it expects to receive its final four Boeing B737-8200 by the end of February.
The Irish company also said that it has already hedged 80% of its jet fuel requirements for the next fiscal year ending in March 2027 at an average of $67/barrel.
