Slade Rand is a journalist and carbon markets editor covering North American compliance emissions trading. He joined the OPIS Carbon team in 2022 and has a background in midstream energy analysis. He trained with the Dow Jones News Fund and has reported for the Hartford Courant, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune and the Fort Morgan Times, among other publications. Slade graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2019 and is currently based in Denver, CO.
